Public Safety & Accountability Campaign
$50,000
The Masson vote is in. Two more hillside hearings sit on this month’s calendar. Independent review of the record cannot wait for the next packet.
Your gift supports CRED’s charitable mission. The board currently expects to prioritize public records, independent expert review, mapping, translation, community outreach, and legal evaluation. Gifts are unrestricted, and the board may direct them wherever they will best advance CRED’s charitable purposes. CRED does not promise a lawsuit, a project reversal, or any other result.
Zeffy does not deduct platform or processing fees from your gift to CRED. At checkout, Zeffy will suggest a separate, optional contribution to Zeffy. You may change that amount, including to $0.

Write the Council in ten minutes
Edit the brackets and send. Use this for remaining hillside files — Masson Estates’ appeal was granted August 19. Always confirm the item is still on the agenda.
Dear Mayor and Council Members, I am a Saratoga resident. On August 19, 2026, Council granted the Masson Estates appeal 5–0. That vote does not change the city’s evacuation assessments: hillside exits are already constrained in modeled wildfire conditions, before new units are added. I ask you, on every remaining Builder’s Remedy and hillside file, to: 1. Give careful consideration to emergency access, evacuation conditions, and shared-corridor demand; 2. Evaluate relevant cumulative conditions to the extent required by applicable law and supported by the record; and 3. Require complete and adequately supported environmental review consistent with applicable law. I will continue to participate in public process and support independent review of these applications. Sincerely, [Your name] [Your street / neighborhood]
