Pierce Road

25 single-family homes

CRED filed a verified petition on September 17, 2026, in Santa Clara Superior Court (CRED v. City of Saratoga, et al., Case No. 26CV503751) challenging the City’s approval of this Pierce Road project. That is the current status. City Council had granted the applicant’s appeal 5–0 on August 19 after the Planning Commission denied the project 5–0 on July 8 (emergency access, response, and evacuation). Builder’s Remedy; 25 homes (five lower-income) on 72.45 acres; 367 trees proposed for removal. The petition is CRED’s filing, not a court ruling. Read CRED’s note on the filing for the neighborhood explanation.
